Technical
Why doesn't the temperature of the water on a newly installed shower correspond to it's setting?
The thermostat on the newly installed shower need to be calibrated.
Before a thermostatic shower is used for the first time or after maintenance has been carried out, the thermoelement has to be calibrated to ensure that the mixed water at the point of discharge is set to the correct temperature.
First of all, open the flow control of the shower mixer & using a thermometer, adjust the temperature control handle until 38 degrees centigrade is achieved at the discharge point. Then making sure the temperature control handle is held in the same position, remove the retaining screw, pull off the handle, and then re-install the handle so that the 38 degree centigrade mark on the handle coincides with the mark on the shower body. Then finally re-install the retaining screw & the cover cap.
